Warm fuzzy feeling:)

ooooooooohhhhhh k
my week was a good one. we just had a zone activity. where we realized one of the elders looks like Gideon on 7 brides for seven brothers. naturally we asked for a picture. he's super cool. we also have a returning LA who we didn't even know was LA in the elders area who started coming back to church on his own... he looks like heith ledger ( sister brewer told me and im not super good with actors now a days.. but we took a picture with him too! for kicks and giggles.) and the elders drew us self portraits at mcm... looks JUST LIKE ME RIGHT? lets hope not hahah ;) ALEXIS GOT BAPTIZED. HER HAIR LOOKED LIKE SOME SWEET BRAIDED DEW OF SOMEONE ON STAR WARS. i told her that. she's so golden. she'll be such an example for her fam to follow... sana in her footsteps to baptism. aaaaannnd my warm fuzzy moment came when i went and taught the ilacas family. so ive probably said this before but they are dirt floor. poor. literally. they live with a dirt floor. so i gave them a bunch of my clothes. but for like 2 weeks i didn't see them wear any of them. so i was like maybe they sold them or didn't like them or they were too big or something. that's ok too. BUT then we came by again and all of them were practically wearing something of mine.. they had just done the wash. i dunno why but i literally felt warm and fuzzy inside. THAT is the reason i came on my mission. for that feeling. i cant describe it. but seeing someone use something you love or loved makes you feel good. applies to the gospel too. when someone else enjoys something that makes you happy.... it makes you even happier!!! hahah. this is the best life. missionary life. i will be one forever. LOVE YOU ALL.

the last picture is for quin.
larry has competition.

Mothers Day:)

soooo... yeah i was a crummy journal writer last week...
so it might be reflected a bit in this email.
sorry in advance.
i have short term memory I've found
young people get it too
oooooooookkkkkkkkkk. WELL I LOVE YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH FAMILY. GGGAAAAHHH. I LOVE YOUR LOVELY FACES. "how did you get to be sooo good looking" "genetics" (im not going to tell you what movie that's from but its said in an english accent by twin brothers. very few will guess it hahah) ummm well last night this GIANT moth got in our appartment. ill take cock roaches. ill take lizards, ill take ginormous spiders. BUT MOTHS I CANNOT DO. haha i seriously got the permethrin spray (it's like 10:20 so we should be about to pray but im a little paranoid) and i went crazy and that thing dive bombed me and persecuted me to the point i gave up and ran into the room slammed the door and hyperventilated. then prayed and slept. they're my nemisis.
other adventures: we're moving sister alexis's date up a week to the 24th because she's just that golden. sometimes she asks questions like is telepathy a gift of the spirit and stuff like that and so we're helping her learn to ask the RIGHT questions. but i love her. only problem is her mom offered us fried chicken the other night and i turned it down (no dinner appts after 5) aaannnd then she started to get offended so i explained the rule. i think she still might be a little upset. hopefully she forgives me... hahah. fried chicken. DON'T BE OFFENDED OVER THINGS THAT AREN'T IMPORTANT. wait. DON'T BE OFFENDED AT ALL ACTUALLY. its dumb. there's a lot of offended people we're trying to help here... less actives. love em. these are pictures of where i proselyte. most beautiful place in the world. ahhhh i wish i had more time.  heres how to help struggling people "investigators must resolve for themselves their concerns and objections. You can help as you focus them on what will strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ- reading and praying about he BOM. When they strengthen their testimony of the restoration, they will have the strength to overcome their objections"
peace and joy to the world.
love you all mucho much!

May 5th

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT'S ALREADY MOTHERS DAY???? I CAN'T. IM SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU ALL!!!!
so for the weekalrighty. this week i broke into the church. wooooo. not the very most christian thing to do.. being  a missionary and all right. haha no joke lang. technically i only half broke into it. it was district meeting was at the meeting house and the elders forgot the key so for like an hour we sat out side... well me being the lover to break into cars slim jim queen i thought a meeting house might be the next step up. so using the supplies at hand i unlocked the bottom lock (NOT using a card if that's what your were thinking) the dead lock was trickier but id of had it if you gave me another 30 minutes hahah. anyway breaking into things is kind of a random talent to aquire but im not complaining!! ;)
sister brewer is a dear and got two GINORMOUS PACKAGES for easter. complete with peeps and reces peanutbutter eggs which she shared so generously... mmm. so i did have easter :) also her aunt sent cheap dollar squirt guns... we weren't sure what to do with them... tell we remembered the stray cat that eats out of our garbage every day and not even us throwing rocks at it will faze it. it just takes it. BUT. true fact. cats do NOT like water. and it doesn't harm the thing in anyway so we've conveniently solved that problem
as for miracles this week
we're teaching alexis. her cousin is a member in isabella. and alexis came to church the first time with her cousin before we had even met her. she's so golden :) we're so lucky. i love humble people. she'll be baptized on the 31st if her mom says yes :)
what else...
our next door neighbor got robbed... apparently im not the only one good at breaking into things..
i ate a fish... and liked it. FISH IS SO MASARAP HERE. i love fish. i love fish eye balls. they're tasty. the fish brain is gross. its too squishy.
for the cute moment of the week
we're over in magacan and we're teaching a less active who is awesome. she has two returning LA son's who are supes funny. but while we were brt'ing with her and discussing stuff i noticed a sweet looking graffiti picture framed on their wall. i asked what it said. she said nema. i said who's nema? she said that's pauls best friend. i said best friend or girl friend? she's goes THAT im not sure of. so it comes paul. i say paul who's nema? he says she's my best friend. i say best friend or girl friend?  he says well... you know what president monson says. you marry your best friend. yep i died. maann. i never want to be a girl friend. just a best friend. cuz that's what it should be like. k forgive the girly side of me just there but it was seriously a awww moment. well
the work goes forth. ME AND SISTER SACAY ARE GOING TO BAPTIZE. theres nothing i love more then the mission my family chocolate the gospel my savior, peanut butter on bread, and these people. i never want to leave but im so excited to visit with you next monday! my monday your sunday. and please still write me :) because 45 minutes is short fam. love you much.
heres another spiritualy tid bit. from elder holland oct 28 2000 in the ctm (brazil mtc) veritably one of the best talks ive ever read to feel pumped up for missionary work
" Well look, if Pres. Hinkley can struggle, you can struggle. If Pres. Hinckley  can wonder whether it's worth it, you can wonder. You just forget it, just say it and get on with it. Just write it in your journal and keep moving. Gordon forget your self. Go to work! And that's collectively the message that God would give to all of us"
read it
